What is a Jerky Bar?
‘Jerky’ means ‘dehydrated meat’ i.e. meat that is dried to prevent spoilage. At Homiee & Ginger, Jerky Bar is a delicious combination of meat and superfood (blueberries, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds etc.) that is dehydrated and moulded into a bar shape. This creates an easy-to-use, easy-to-feed, and easy-to-carry high energy treat for your dog. A first for India.
Why should I feed a Jerky Bar to my dog?
Whether you’re training your dog or you’re out with them, treats are a must-have for rewards and munchies. Our Jerky Bars contain limited ingredients that are 100% clean and human-grade. This means that they give your dog the required nutrition and energy boost without giving them any of the harmful calories or chemicals. That’s why Jerky Bar is a much better option as a treat than regular dog biscuits.
When should I feed my dog a Jerky Bar?
Honestly? Any time you like. Since our Jerky Bars are 100% clean, you can choose them as a healthy snack for your dog during outdoor adventures, in between meals, or even on a lazy Sunday afternoon. These are great for training as well, because they make for delicious rewards.
Are Jerky Bars grain and gluten free?

How long does a Jerky Bar last?
Not very long, after your dog has had the first taste! But, if you’re asking about shelf life, our Jerky Bars are good to consume up to 12 months from the date of manufacture. Also note, that our packs are resealable and reusable. So can make the Jerky goodness last longer for more adventures.
What does human-grade ingredient mean?
It means that if you wanted to eat our Jerky Bar instead of your dog, it would be perfectly safe. Human-grade ingredients indicate that the quality of ingredients used in your dog’s food is very high. The meat, veggies, and other foods used are of the same quality that we humans consume.
